Humility
Humility seems to me is one of those words that has gone out of fashion a bit like respect, integrity, honour and decency. But in some ways even though they are different words and represent different actions they are all connected, and come together in a person as part of their character. For me understanding humility I first had to understand what gets in the way of being humble . It seems to me if you are full of self importance, or subservient, or scared, it is not possible to be humble. Being humble allows a person to serve without the person being dominating, or intimidated which is so important when trying to help others get back on their feet. It seems rather sad today that the majority of people seem to want and need to be in charge, and giving appears to have become conditional .
